For most horror fans seeing a film just isn’t enough, we want more and we want to know about the behind the scenes action that made that film possible. With the 30th anniversary of Wes Craven’s 1984 horror classic “A Nightmare on Elm Street” approaching, author Thommy Hutson and Red Rover Books LLC have joined forces and put together a kickstarter campaign for Never Sleep Again: The Making of “A Nightmare on Elm Street“.
Never Sleep Again: The Making of “A Nightmare on Elm Street”, if funding is met, will be a hard cover 200 page, over size coffee table book. The book will include pictures in both color and black and white. Also included will be introductions and epilogues by Wes Craven and Heather Langenkamp. What makes this project even more unique and worth contributing to is the fact that a real horror fan and mega talented artist, Nathan Thomas Milliner, was asked to contribute the cover art for the book. It is great to see a book for the fans with contributions from real horror fans. The book will also include exclusive behind the scenes photos from the set.
There are only 19 days left to help fund this great project. Just like any other kickstarter campaign, there are different perks for each level of donation. A donation of $50 or more will get you a copy of this horror fan’s dream plus a lot
more that any horror fanatic would be proud to own. You do not have to donate that much however, you can donate as little as $1 to help the cause. Every little bit counts. The goal is $65,000 or 1,300 copies of the book.
