Want to win $10,000? Submit your short film to The Horror Block Film Festival

HbFilmFestRecAttention Indie Horror filmmakers, Horror Block has teamed up with Rue Morgue to bring you The Horror Block Film Festival. They are offering some pretty great prizes and have even more surprises planned which will be announced through the month. There are $20,000 dollars in cash prizes up for grabs, 1st place gets $10,000, 2nd place $5,000 and 3rd place $2,500. I know, that doesn’t add up to 20,000, there will be other cash prizes like $1,500 for best effects and $1,000 for best scream.

How do you enter? What are the rules? How much does it cost to enter? Well boils and ghouls the rules are quite short and simple to follow.

  • Must have an active subscription to Horror Block. Don’t have a subscription? Pick one up at HorrorBlock.com.
  • No submission fee. All you pay for is your box of horrifying goodies.
  • You’re film MUST be under 10 minuets long.
  • Submissions close March 16, 2015
